The 'Redhaven' peach is one of the most popular peach varieties in the world. Its origin can be traced back to the United States. It is known for its excellent taste, sweetness, and juiciness. This peach variety is relatively frost-resistant and adapts well to different climates.
The 'Redhaven' peach blooms in spring, usually in the months of March to April, depending on the specific climatic conditions. It is a self-pollinating variety.
The fruits of the 'Redhaven' peach are medium to large-sized, with an average weight of 150-180g. They have a spherical shape and an attractive red color with some yellowish tones. The flesh is delicate, juicy, and aromatic. It has a sweet taste with a balanced blend of sweetness and acidity. The flesh is yellow, and when fully ripe, the stone separates easily from the flesh. The peaches ripen from early August.
In addition to its excellent taste, the 'Redhaven' peach is also favored for its versatile use. It can be consumed fresh, added to fruit salads, desserts, jams, or used for making peach sauces and pies.
When cultivating 'Redhaven' peaches, it is important to provide sufficient sunlight and proper care for the trees, including pruning and fertilization. It is also crucial to monitor and protect the peach trees from pests and diseases that can affect the yield.
The 'Redhaven' peach is a popular choice not only for peach growers but also for consumers seeking sweet, juicy, and aromatic fruit.
