How long does it take to deliver an order?

- The standard delivery time is 2-3 working days. - We always ship parcels on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. - By arrangement, we can also ship plants on Thursdays or Fridays (we do not normally ship on these days in case there is a problem so that the parcels are not left in the depot unnecessarily over the weekend).

Brigitta Blue is one of the large-fruited varieties. Originating from Australia, it is very good and suitable for commercial cultivation, but also for home gardeners. It grows quickly and produces abundantly.
When planning to buy blueberry seedlings, it is best to follow the principle of planting varieties with a similar flowering date and as close relatives as possible in the vicinity. For Brigita Blue, these are the blueberry varieties : Chanticleer , Patriot , Spartan.
As shown by many years of research, the average percentage of hatched fruit is up to 30-50 % higher in the case of pollination with foreign pollen (from another variety) than in the case of fruit obtained after pollination with pollen of the same variety. In addition, the quality of the fruit is much better.
The bush grows quickly, is upright, not very dense, and reaches a height of about 180 cm at maturity. The new young advantages turn brown.
The fruits are blue, large and firm with an excellent flavour. It may remind someone of wine. The quality of the fruit is very high. The fruits are also suitable for longer storage in the refrigerator.
It ripens moderately in the first half of August.
It has a very high frost resistance.
In amateur cultivation, plant 'Brigitta' blueberry seedlings every 1,5 m in the row, keeping a distance of about 2 m between rows.
The best time to cut blueberries is late winter and early spring. You can clearly see the flower buds, which makes it easier to decide how hard to cut. The flowering period of blueberries is considered to be the latest cutting date.
